The Stone Gorge 1908 vineyards are not far from Minerve, a 13th century Cathar village in the heart of the Minervois region.
Minerve is surrounded by a limestone gorge which has developed over millions of years (seen in the pictures). 1908 is the year the current wine producer's family first harvested the vines that have been passed down four generations, although there is one vineyard with unknown origins that is thought to date back to the 1890's.
Rich in heritage the vineyards of Stone Gorge 1908 continues to innovate and pioneer new techniques as well as reinvent old techniques used by the Romans. This is just the beginning......
